Terms of Service

Last Updated: [Insert Date]

Welcome to One Yacht Wellness ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website www.oneyachtwellness.com and the booking of our onboard wellness professionals. By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Services

One Yacht Wellness coordinates and provides vetted, independent wellness professionals (including but not limited to massage therapists, personal trainers, beauty specialists, and childcare providers) to deliver high-end services directly on board private and charter yachts across the Mediterranean and other designated locations.

2. Booking and Scheduling

  • Inquiries: All service requests are subject to practitioner availability and the geographical location of the vessel.

  • Confirmation: A booking is only considered confirmed once you have received written confirmation from our coordination team and, if applicable, a deposit has been secured.

  • Location Changes: We understand that yacht itineraries change. Clients must notify us of any anchorage or marina changes as soon as possible. While we will make every effort to accommodate location changes, we cannot guarantee practitioner availability if the vessel moves outside the originally agreed-upon region.

3. Cancellations and Modifications

  • Standard Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24  hours of the scheduled service time may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to  100% of the total service cost.

  • Weather & Operational Delays: If a practitioner is unable to board the vessel due to unsafe tender conditions, severe weather, or port authority restrictions, we will attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is impossible, a modified cancellation policy may apply at our discretion.

4. Client and Vessel Responsibilities

To ensure the delivery of exceptional and safe services, the client (or the vessel’s crew on the client’s behalf) agrees to:

  • Provide safe and secure boarding access for the practitioner (via passerelle, tender, or dock).

  • Provide a clean, safe, and appropriate environment on board for the treatment or session to take place.

  • Ensure all necessary permissions are granted by the Captain or vessel management for external contractors to board.

5. Practitioner Discretion and Safety

Our professionals maintain the highest standards of safety and etiquette. A practitioner reserves the right to refuse, modify, or terminate a session immediately if:

  • The environment is deemed unsafe or unsanitary.

  • The practitioner is subjected to inappropriate behavior, harassment, or solicitation.

  • The client is intoxicated or presents a medical contraindication to the requested treatment. In such events, the full cost of the booked service will still be charged.

6. Health and Medical Conditions

Our wellness services are designed for relaxation, fitness, and cosmetic purposes. They are not a substitute for medical treatment. It is the client’s responsibility to inform the practitioner of any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or pregnancies prior to the start of any session.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Yacht Wellness and its coordinated practitioners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries, or losses arising from the use of our website or the provision of our onboard services. Clients assume all risks associated with participating in physical fitness routines or receiving bodywork.

8. Payment Terms

  • Pricing will be agreed upon during the booking confirmation process and may include travel or tender-boarding surcharges depending on the vessel's location.

  • Payments must be settled according to the terms outlined in the booking invoice (e.g., via bank transfer, credit card, or via the yacht's management/purser) prior to or immediately following the completion of services.

9. Privacy and Discretion

We strictly adhere to a policy of absolute discretion regarding the identity of our clients, the name and location of the vessel, and the services provided. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle your data.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
